Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a 3D image display device and a driving method thereof, and more particularly, to a 3D image display device including a shutter member and a driving method thereof. An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a 3D image display device including: a display panel including a plurality of pixels and a plurality of data lines; a data driver configured to apply a data voltage to the data lines; and a signal controller configured to receive an input image signal to generate an output image signal and control the data driver, wherein the signal controller includes a signal compensator for compensating the input image signal to have a clipped gray scale that is lower than a highest gray scale when the input image signal is the highest gray scale in a 3D mode.
