    Abstract: An electro-optical device includes digital scanning lines, a digital signal line, and pixel circuits. Each circuit is coupled to a digital scanning line included in the digital scanning lines, and the digital signal line. Each pixel circuit includes a light-emitting element and a digital driving circuit that performs digital driving in which, when the pixel circuit is selected by the digital scanning line, display data is written to selected pixel circuit from the digital signal line, and a drive current is supplied to the light-emitting element of selected pixel circuit in an on-period of a length corresponding to a gray scale value of the display data. A field being a period in which one image is formed includes an all-pixels-light-off period in which the pixel circuits turn off the light-emitting elements, and a digital driving period in which the digital driving circuit performs the digital driving after the all-pixels-light-off period.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a plurality of source drivers outputting a gradation voltage signal and a selector switchably supplying the output gradation voltage signal to a plurality of data lines. The plurality of source drivers include a first source driver that has a first output buffer outputting a switching signal and a second source driver that has a second output buffer. The first output buffer has first and second transistors coupled via output terminals of the switching signal and turned ON and OFF complementarily. The second output buffer has third and fourth transistors coupled via output terminals of the switching signal and turned ON and OFF complementarily. The first and the second output buffers have the output terminals electrically coupled, and the first source driver has an abnormal detection circuit detecting a state causing a flow-through current to occur between the output terminals.

    Abstract: A novel functional panel that is highly convenient, useful, or reliable is provided. The functional panel includes a first driver circuit, a second driver circuit, and a pixel set, the first driver circuit has a function of supplying a first selection signal and a second selection signal, a second driver circuit has a function of supplying an image signal and a control signal, and the control signal includes a first level and a second level. The pixel set includes a first pixel, and the first pixel includes a first element and a first pixel circuit. The first pixel circuit has functions of obtaining the image signal on the basis of the first selection signal, obtaining the control signal on the basis of the second selection signal, and holding a first state to a third state. The first element is electrically connected to the first pixel circuit, performs display with first brightness on the basis of the first state, performs display with second brightness on the basis of the second state, and performs display using the image signal on the basis of the third state. The first brightness is darker than the second brightness.

    Abstract: A driving method and a driving device of a display panel, and a display device are provided. The driving method includes: receiving a video signal transmitted by an external processor; transmitting a first scanning signal to a current row of pixels in response to a first gray-scale value of each of the current row of pixels of the display panel corresponding to the video signal being greater than a preset gray-scale value; transmitting a second scanning signal to a next row of pixels of the display panel; and transmitting, based on the first gray-scale value, a data signal to the display panel and driving the display panel to display the video signal.

    Abstract: A method for driving a display module, a display module and a display device are provided. The drive method includes: obtaining a common voltage value when the display module performs displaying in a current polarity inversion manner; and controlling the display module to perform displaying in a pre-stored polarity inversion manner when the common voltage value is out of a common voltage threshold range, the pre-stored polarity inversion manner being different from the current polarity inversion manner. In the drive method, the polarity inversion manner is adjusted such that an image is displayed in another polarity inversion manner.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, a scan driver which supplies scan signals and sensing control signals to scan lines and sensing control lines, based on a clock signal, a power manager which applies initialization power to initialization lines, a sensor which senses threshold voltages of driving transistors, a detector which detects an error of the initialization lines and outputs line information indicating an initialization line having the error, a timing controller which changes a sensed threshold voltage using the initialization line having the error and generates image data with reference to a changed threshold voltage, and a data driver which supplies a data signal corresponding to the image data to data lines.
