Abstract: A display apparatus includes a backlight unit generating light, a bottom receiving member including a bottom portion and a first sidewall portion extending from the bottom portion to define a receiving space accommodating the backlight unit, an intermediate frame coupled to the bottom receiving member including a second sidewall portion facing the first sidewall portion and a cover portion extending inward from the second sidewall portion to cover an upper edge of the backlight unit, and a display panel on the cover portion for receiving the light from the backlight unit and displaying an image. The bottom receiving member includes a protrusion protruding outward from the first sidewall portion, and the intermediate frame includes a distance adjusting portion in an inner side surface of the second sidewall portion engaged with an outer surface of the protrusion to move the cover portion along a z-axis direction away from the bottom portion.
