    Abstract: A direct current-to-direct current (“DC-DC”) converter includes: a first converter which outputs a first power voltage in a normal mode or a power saving mode based on a inductor current generated therein, where the first converter operates in a first driving manner in the normal mode, and operates in a second driving manner in the power saving mode; a second converter which outputs a second power voltage based on a inductor current generated therein, where the second converter operates in a third driving manner in the power saving mode, and a magnitude of the second power voltage in the power saving mode is different from that in the normal mode; and a mode selector which supplies a mode control signal to the first and second converters, where the first and second converters are driven in the normal mode or the power saving mode based on the mode control signal.

    Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel including scan lines, a first power line, a second power line, and pixels connected to the scan lines and the first and second power lines; a gate driver to sequentially provide scan signals to the scan lines based on a clock signal; and a power supply including transistors to convert an input power voltage into a first power voltage through a switching operation of the transistors and to supply the first power voltage to the first power line through a first output terminal. In response to an amount of current flowing through the pixels being less than a first reference current amount, the power supply is configured to change one or more of an off-duty of at least one of the transistors, a channel capacitance of at least one of the transistors, a switching frequency of at least one of the transistors, and a slew rate of at least one of control signals for the transistors.

    Abstract: A power management circuit includes a boost converter which generates a boosted voltage at a boosting node by boosting an input voltage by using a reference boosting voltage, a voltage regulator coupled to the boosting node and an output node, a bypass transistor coupled between the boosting node and the output node, and a regulator control block which compares the input voltage with a reference input voltage. When the input voltage is higher than or equal to the reference input voltage, the regulator control block increases the reference boosting voltage to increase the boosted voltage, enables the voltage regulator to generate a regulated voltage by regulating the increased boosted voltage, turns off the bypass transistor such that the regulated voltage is output as a pixel power supply voltage at the output node, and maintains an enable state of the voltage regulator for a minimum enable time.

    Abstract: A vehicle display device includes a first display unit disposed in a first portion of a vehicle and including a first display panel to display a first image and a first power supply to supply a first power supply voltage to the first display panel, the first power supply configured to detect an abnormality of a signal output to the first display panel to generate a first shut-down control signal; a second display unit disposed in a second portion of the vehicle and including a second display panel to display a second image and a second power supply to supply a second power supply voltage to the second display panel, the second power supply configured to detect an abnormality of a signal output to the second display panel to generate a second shut-down control signal; a third display unit disposed in a third portion of the vehicle and configured to display a third image or at least one of the first and second images; and a controller to receive first image data corresponding to the first image, second image data corresponding to the second image, and third image data corresponding to the third image to provide the received first image data, the received second image data, and the received third image data to the first display unit, the second display unit, and the third display unit, respectively. The controller is configured to supply the first image data to the third display unit in response to the first shut-down control signal, and to supply the second image data to the third display unit in response to the second shut-down control signal.
