    Abstract: A foldable display apparatus may include a first display panel and a component. The first display panel may include a first section and a second section. The first section may include a first pixel set and a first transmission structure surrounded by the first pixel set. The second section may include a second pixel set, may include a second transmission structure surrounded by the second pixel set, and may rotate relative to the first display section about a folding axis. A distance from the folding axis to a center of the first transmission structure may be substantially equal to a distance from the folding axis to a center of the second transmission structure. The component may overlap the first transmission structure. The second transmission structure may overlap the first transmission structure and the component when the foldable display apparatus is in a folded state.

    Abstract: A foldable display device includes a display panel including a front surface and a rear surface opposite the front surface, the front surface including a first component area including a first transmissive portion, a second component area including a second transmissive portion, and a main display area at least partially surrounding the first component area and the second component area, wherein, in a state in which the foldable display device is folded about a first folding axis that crosses the main display area such that two areas of the front surface or two areas of the rear surface face each other, the first component area and the second component area overlap each other on a plane.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a substrate having an opening, a display area around the opening, and a middle area between the opening and the display area, a light-emitting element in the display area, the light-emitting element comprising a pixel electrode, an opposite electrode, and an intermediate layer between the pixel electrode and the opposite electrode, and a disconnection portion in the middle area, the disconnection portion including a first stack structure and a second stack structure on the first stack structure. A 1-1st sub-layer, a 1-2nd sub-layer, and a 1-3rd sub-layer are sequentially stacked in the first stack structure. A 2-1st sub-layer, a 2-2nd sub-layer, and a 2-3rd sub-layer are sequentially stacked in the second stack structure. The intermediate layer and the opposite electrode extend from the display area to the middle area, the intermediate layer and the opposite electrode being disconnected at the disconnection portion.
