Abstract:
A display device includes a first substrate and a second substrate, which face each other, and each of which includes a display area and a non-display area disposed outside the display area, a first light-blocking layer disposed in the non-display area, and a dummy color layer, in which a boundary dividing the display area and the non-display area is defined, and which is disposed in the non-display area of the first substrate to be adjacent to the boundary, where the dummy color layer includes a section in which a distribution density of the dummy color layer is decreased from the boundary to the outside of the non-display area.
Abstract:
A display device according to an exemplary embodiment includes: a plurality of color filters positioned at a plurality of color pixels and representing different colors; and a transparent layer positioned at a white pixel and including a green colorant and a blue colorant, wherein white color coordinates represented by the white pixel are substantially equal to white color coordinates represented together by the plurality of color pixels.
Abstract:
A tiled display device includes a first display panel including a first lower structure including a first driver, and a first upper structure on the first lower structure, and a second display panel including a second lower structure that includes a second driver and that is adjacent to the first lower structure in a bonding area, and a second upper structure that is on the second lower structure and that is adjacent to the first upper structure, wherein the second lower structure at least partially overlaps the first upper structure, and wherein the first driver and the second driver are spaced apart from the bonding area in a plan view.
Abstract:
A thin film transistor array substrate includes gate and data lines, a thin film transistor, a pixel electrode, a polarizing plate, and a contact line. The gate line is positioned on a base substrate, and disposed in a first direction. The data line is disposed in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The thin film transistor is connected to the gate and data lines. The pixel electrode is connected to the thin film transistor. The polarizing plate is positioned between the base substrate and the thin film transistor, and has a first metal pattern overlapping the thin film transistor on a plane, a second metal pattern overlapping the pixel electrode on a plane, and a third metal pattern overlapping the data line on a plane. The contact line is positioned over the data line, and connects the data line and the third metal pattern to each other.
