    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. The disclosure relates to a method by which a first terminal performs positioning through a sidelink in a wireless communication system, comprising the steps of: allocating a resource for transmitting a first sidelink positioning signal; transmitting the first sidelink positioning signal on the basis of the allocated resource; receiving, from at least one second terminal, a second sidelink positioning signal including a transmission/reception signal time difference of the at least one second terminal; measuring a transmission/reception signal time difference of the first terminal on the basis of the second sidelink positioning signal; and measuring terminal positioning on the basis of the transmission/reception signal time difference of the first terminal and the transmission/reception signal time difference of the second terminal, wherein the first sidelink positioning signal can include a first sidelink positioning reference signal (S-PRS), and the second sidelink positioning signal can include a second S-PRS.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. In addition, the present disclosure relates to a method carried out by a base station of a wireless communication system, and a device for carrying out same, the method comprising the steps of: determining whether a frequency band operated by a base station uses a bandwidth that is narrower than a preset bandwidth; if a bandwidth that is narrower than the preset bandwidth is used, determining a subcarrier spacing (SCS) that is narrower than a preset SCS; generating a synchronization signal block (SSB) using the determined SCS; and transmitting the SSB, wherein the determined SCS is smaller than 15 kHz.
