    摘要: A method performed by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes transmitting, to a base station, capability information of the UE, and receiving configuration information associated with a transport block size (TBS). The TBS is determined based on a value of NRE·R·Qm·v. The NRE corresponds to a number of allocated resource elements, the R corresponds to a code rate, and the Qm corresponds to a modulation order, and the v corresponds to a number of allocated layers. A maximum value of the TBS is considered for transport block over multiple slots (TBoMS), and the maximum value of the TBS is determined by limiting at least one of a value of the NRE, the R, the Qm, or the v.

    摘要: Methods and an apparatuses are provided for transmitting and receiving signaling information in a digital broadcasting system. A method includes encoding first signaling information for a physical layer to generate a first coded block; encoding second signaling information to generate a second coded block; and transmitting a frame including the first coded block, the second coded block, and at least one physical layer pipe (PLP) data. The first signaling information has a fixed number of bits. The second signaling information has a variable number of bits. The first signaling information comprises information indicating a forward error correction (FEC) type used for the second signaling information. The second signaling information comprises information indicating a modulation scheme of a related PLP, and information indicating a code rate of the related PLP.

    摘要: This disclosure relates to a 5G or pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data transfer rate than a 4G communication system such as LTE. The present invention relates to a method for encoding and decoding a channel in a communication or broadcasting system, comprising the steps of: determining an input bit size (CBS); determining a code rate (R); determining a size (Z) of a block; comparing the determined CBS and code rate with predetermined reference values; determining an LDPC sequence to perform LDPC encoding according to the comparison result; and performing LDPC encoding and decoding on the basis of the LDPC sequence and the block size. Further, the present invention comprises the steps of: determining a code rate (R) indicated by a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index; determining a transport block size; and determining either a first basic matrix or a second basic matrix as a basic matrix on the basis of the transport block size and the code rate.
