Abstract: A first electronic device may include: a display unit that displays an execution screen of an application executed in the first electronic device; and a processor configured to receive an input for transmitting contents related to one or more objects selected within the execution screen of the application to a second electronic device and to transmit the contents related to the one or more selected objects to the second electronic device in response to the input. The contents related to the one or more selected objects may be displayed in the second electronic device without being displayed on the execution screen of the first electronic device.

Abstract: A method of providing data by a first electronic device is provided. The method includes connecting with a plurality of electronic devices, transmitting information on data that is able to be provided to the plurality of electronic devices by the first electronic device, to a second electronic device from among the plurality of electronic devices that is selected as a host device for transmitting the data to at least one of the plurality of electronic devices instead of the first electronic device, and transmitting the data to the second electronic device.
