    Abstract: Provided is a server device which may be stably operated in spite of power loss and a method of operating the same. The server device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a host system; a plurality of memory modules; a backplane configured to transmit main power supplied from the host system to the plurality of memory modules; and at least one replaceable battery module connected to the backplane and configured to supply first auxiliary power to the plurality of memory modules, wherein the plurality of memory modules includes a volatile memory, a non-volatile memory; and a memory module controller using the first auxiliary power supplied from the at least one replaceable battery module to maintain data of the volatile memory or flush data of the volatile memory to the non-volatile memory, in response to the power loss occurring in the main power.

    Abstract: A solid state drive apparatus includes a housing including a top cover and a bottom cover that define an internal space of the housing, and a plurality of package substrate modules accommodated in the internal space of the housing.     Abstract: A method and device for accessing data in a host memory are provided. The method includes: in response to writing first data corresponding to a first Remote Dictionary Server (Redis) instance of a plurality of Redis instances into the host memory, determining whether a remaining host memory capacity for the first Redis instance is sufficient to store the first data, wherein the remaining host memory capacity is based on a difference between maximum capacity of the host memory that is capable of being used by the first Redis and capacity of the host memory that has been used by the first Redis instance; and in response to determining that that the remaining host memory capacity is not sufficient to store the first data, evicting second data of the first Redis instance from the host memory to a Computing Express Link (CXL) device and storing the first data in the host memory.

    Abstract: A method of operating an electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a host device and a first storage device. The host device includes a processor and a baseboard management controller and the first storage device includes a first storage controller and a first micro controller. The method includes: performing a first monitoring operation to obtain first status information, by a baseboard management controller; determining whether a first abnormal situation occurs, based on the first status information, by the baseboard management controller; providing a first warning message to a first micro controller through a first communication interface based on determining that the first abnormal situation occurs, by the baseboard management controller, wherein the first communication interface is a direct communication interface between the baseboard management controller and the first micro controller; and performing a first preventive action based on the first warning message, by the first micro controller.
