Abstract: A method comprising: transmitting, by a first electronic device, a discovery request message according to an internet protocol (IP) address of the first electronic device; receiving, by the first electronic device, a response to the discovery request message that is transmitted by a second electronic device according to an IP address of the second electronic device; and establishing a Tunneled Direct Link Setup (TDLS) channel with the second electronic device when the response to the discovery request message is received from the second electronic device.

Abstract: A topology management method of a node, a non-transitory computer readable recording medium, and an electronic device are provided. The method includes transmitting, by the node, a unicast message comprising its presence information to at least one neighbor node in a network; receiving, by the node, an acknowledgement message for the unicast message; and receiving, by the node, first broadcast messages each of which comprises presence information on each of the at least one neighbor node.
