Abstract: A home appliance has an improved structure to provide anti-fingerprinting properties and a method of manufacturing the same. The home appliance includes a main body including an internal space, a door provided to open and close the internal space, and a coating layer formed on at least one of the main body and the door, wherein the coating layer includes a first layer provided to cover a surface of at least one of the main body and the door and including silicon oxide, and a second layer provided to cover the first layer using an ultraviolet curing paint including a silane coupling agent.
