Abstract: A device and method in which an electronic device processes an event by interlocking with another electronic device are provided. The method of operating an electronic device includes detecting occurrence of an event. The method also includes determining state information of the electronic device. The method further includes determining whether to interlock event information with at least one second electronic device based on the state information of the electronic device. The method includes transmitting event information to the at least one second electronic device in response to event information interlocking determination with the at least one second electronic device.
