Abstract:
An electronic device according to various embodiments may include: a wireless communication circuit configured to support short-range communication; a wireless charging circuit configured to support wireless charging; at least one processor electrically connected to the wireless communication circuit and the wireless charging circuit; and a memory electronically connected to the at least one processor. The memory is configured to store instructions that when executed by the at least one processor cause the electronic device to perform operations comprising: identifying an area in which the electronic device is located, based on at least one of a second signal for communicating with an external electronic device via the wireless communication circuit when the external electronic device is located in a second area, a first signal for communicating with the external electronic device via the wireless charging circuit when the external electronic device is located in a first area within the second area, and a combination of at least a part of the first signal and the second signal; identifying an operation mode corresponding to the area; and controlling operation of the electronic device, based on the identified operation mode.
Abstract:
An example electronic device includes memory for storing a program for unlocking the first electronic device using a wearable electronic device; wireless communication circuitry; and one or more processors configured to execute the program stored in the memory to cause the electronic device to at least establish wireless communication, via the wireless communication circuitry, with the wearable electronic device when the wearable electronic device is in a wireless communication range of the first electronic device; determine whether the wearable second electronic device is authenticated for unlocking the first electronic device; determine whether the wearable electronic device is in a specific range of the first electronic device based on a signal transmitted from the wearable electronic device being worn; and unlock the first electronic device based on determining that the wearable electronic device is authenticated and is in the specific range of the electronic device.
Abstract:
Electronic devices and methods for controlling a display are provided. The method includes extracting at least one function applicable to at least two applications displayed on a display, displaying the extracted at least one function as an icon, and applying a function corresponding to the displayed icon to at least one application of the at least two applications, corresponding to selection of the displayed icon.
Abstract:
A method for operating an electronic device includes determining whether a preset triggering condition is satisfied; when satisfying the preset triggering condition, requesting extended page data corresponding to the triggering condition, from either a server or a connectable device; and receiving the requested data from either the server or the connectable device, and adding and displaying at least one page in a home screen.
Abstract:
One or more embodiments of this disclosure provide an apparatus and a method for generating a group profile. The apparatus receives, from a first external device, a request for generating a set of first information related to a group including a plurality of users using different electronic devices through the communication module. The apparatus receives, from the first external device or a second external device, a set of second information related to at least some of the plurality of users in response to the received request. The apparatus generates first data including the set of first information and second data for at least a part of at least one user interface corresponding to the set of first information based on at least some of the received set of second information. The apparatus transmits the first data or the second data to the first external device through the communication module.

Abstract:
A method of operating an electronic device is provided. The method of operating an electronic device includes generating at least one second moving picture representing a reaction to a first moving picture of a user of the electronic device based on a visual point of the first moving picture using an image sensor included in the electronic device while playing the first moving picture captured or received from a server. The method also includes generating a third moving picture in which at least a portion of the second moving picture is coupled to a partial area of the first moving picture at a corresponding visual point of the first moving picture.
Abstract:
An electronic device that can be worn on a user's body and an operating method thereof. An electrode for charging and measuring is included in a front side of the electronic device. The electronic device includes a battery, a charging circuit for charging the battery, a bio-sensor, and a processor. The processor is configured to determine whether the battery is being charged through the charging circuit. If the battery is not being charged, the processor is configured to acquire biometric information by using a first method through the bio-sensor, and if the battery is being charged, the processor is configured to acquire the biometric information by using a second method through the bio-sensor.
Abstract:
An electronic device is provided that includes a touch screen display; a pressure sensor; at least one processor configured to receive a user input for performing a function for a selected period of time after execution of at least one application program, to detect a pressure regarding the touch screen display for the selected period of time using the pressure sensor, and to execute at least one selected from pausing the execution of the function, resuming the same, and restarting the same at least partially on the basis of the detected pressure when a selected pressure level is detected by the pressure sensor for the selected period of time.
Abstract:
An electronic device including a touch-enabled display module configured to display a plurality of windows according to a multi-window mode; and a control module configured to displaying on the touch screen a first application window and a second application window according to the multi-window mode, alter the first application window in response to a touchscreen input received via the touch-enabled display, and automatically alter the second application window in response to the alteration of the first application window.
