摘要: A computed tomographic (CT) apparatus and for a method of controlling the same are provided. The CT apparatus includes an X-ray scanner configured to divide X-rays penetrating a subject by energy bands, and capture scout images of the respective energy bands. The CT apparatus further includes an image processor configured to generate substance images of substances of the subject, based on the scout images, and a display configured to display a substance image of the substance images. The CT apparatus further includes an input interface configured to receive a scanning region for the displayed substance image.

摘要: A tomography apparatus and a method of processing a tomography image are provided. The tomography apparatus includes a data acquirer configured to acquire a first image corresponding to a first time point and a second image corresponding to a second time point, based on data that is obtained from performing tomography on a moving object, acquire first information indicating a movement of the object between the first time point and the second time point, and determine a motion reliability indicating a degree to which the movement of the object corresponds to a physical movement, based on the first information. The tomography apparatus further includes an image reconstructor configured to reconstruct a target image indicating the object at a target time point, based on the motion reliability.

摘要: A tomography apparatus includes a data obtainer and an image processor. The data obtainer performs a tomography scan on a moving object and obtains raw data of the object The image processor reconstructs a first tomography image of the object for a first slice section in a first phase from the raw data and reconstructs a second tomography image in a second phase, which is different from the first phase, for the first slice section of the object by using the raw data. The image processor also generates motion information indicating a three-dimensional (3D) motion of the object. The second phase is a phase beyond a phase range of the raw data.

The medical imaging apparatus includes an X-ray source configured to irradiate X-rays; an X-ray detector configured to obtain raw data by detecting X-rays irradiated from the X-ray source; and an image processor configured to determine a motion parameter to represent motion of at least one of an object, the X-ray source, and the X-ray detector from a medical image reconstructed based on the obtained raw data, and reconstruct a motion-compensated medical image of the object based on a virtual trajectory of the X-ray source generated based on the determined motion parameter.

The CT image processing apparatus may set a region of interest (ROI) on a CT image, determine a VMI at an energy level at which a CNR of the ROI is at a maximum among a plurality of VMIs, and display the determined VMI.

摘要: A method and apparatus correct a computed tomography (CT) image with motion artifacts. The method of correcting a CT image may include: obtaining a reconstruction image of an object by reconstructing an X-ray projection image; measuring a parameter value related to motion artifacts that occur due to movement of the object in at least one of the X-ray projection image or the reconstruction image; calculating a correction possibility for the reconstruction image based on the measured parameter value; and determining whether to perform correction on the reconstruction image based on the calculated correction possibility.
