Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling a drag to variably change the speed of an object moving on a display unit includes displaying an object and a control region for controlling a movement of the object, wherein if a touch input is detected from the control region, the control unit determines whether duration of a drag input after the initial touch input is longer than a predetermined time period, then the control unit defines a ratio of a drag speed and an object speed, based on the determination outcome so that the object is moved in response to the drag input according to the defined ratio.

Abstract: An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device according to one embodiment comprises: a display; and a processor functionally connected with the display, wherein the processor can determine a timeline for a plurality of cooking processes, in which at least one cooking appliance is used, by using recipe information, link the determined timeline with the at least one cooking appliance so as to output the same on the display, update the timeline so as to respond to a changed setting value when the setting value of the at least one cooling appliance is changed, and output the updated timeline on the display.
