摘要: Embodiments herein provide a method for handling communication with a wireless network by a user equipment (UE). The method includes determining that a data inactivity timer has expired during a PS/CS call recovery procedure with a network. The method identifies whether data inactivity that caused the data inactivity timer to expire is due to a radio link failure with the network. A radio link is recovered through the recovery procedure tor resuming the PS/CS call with the network, in response to identifying that the data inactivity was due to the radio link failure.

The method includes initiating a circuit-switched (CS) connection establishment procedure by transmitting a connection management (CM) service request message to a core network (CN). Mobility management (MM) connection establishment is aborted in response to failing to receive a CM service acceptance message within a time period. In response to subsequently receiving a CM service acceptance message after aborting the MM connection establishment, a circuit-switched (CS) signaling connection release action is performed.

摘要: A method for sharing a radio frequency (RF) resource among multi-subscriber identification module (SIM) stacks in a multi-SIM device, includes: receiving two paging requests from the multi-SIM stacks for performing communication with a network entity via the RF resource; transmitting the two paging received requests to the network entity via the RF resource; detecting a page sharing conflict between the two paging requests of the multi-SIM stacks; determining, based on the detection of the page sharing conflict, a connection status of a connection between each stack of the multi-SIM stacks and the network entity. The connection status indicates a communication medium via which each stack of the multi-SIM stacks is connected with the network entity. The method includes prioritizing, based on the determined connection status, a grant of the RF resource to a stack of the multi-SIM stacks whose connection status indicates a cellular connection as the communication medium.

摘要: A method performed by a mobile device for selectively allowing radio-frequency (RF) resource sharing between a plurality of subscriptions associated with a plurality of subscriber identity modules (SIMs) in the mobile device, the method includes transferring access to an RF resource from a first subscription among the plurality of subscriptions to a second subscription among the plurality of subscriptions during an ongoing service through the first subscription based on occurrence of a condition, evaluating one or more network parameters pertaining to communication through the first subscription, and causing the first subscription and the second subscription to share access to the RF resource for a first defined time period based on the evaluating such that message communication through the second subscription is enabled without disconnecting the first subscription from the ongoing service.
