    Abstract: Provided is a method of providing content, via a device, the method including: obtaining bio-information of a user using content executed on the device, and context information indicating a situation of the user at a point of obtaining the bio-information of the user; determining an emotion of the user using the content, based on the obtained bio-information of the user and the obtained context information; extracting at least one portion of content corresponding to the emotion of the user that satisfies a predetermined condition; and generating content summary information including the extracted at least one portion of content, and emotion information corresponding to the extracted at least one portion of content.
