摘要: An electronic device includes a communication processor; a processor connected to the communication processor; and a memory connected to the processor and the communication processor. The memory stores a domain name system (DNS) table, first instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to: generate a first DNS query message including a domain address based on execution of a networking service; and deliver the first DNS query message to the communication processor, and second instructions that, when executed, cause the communication processor to update the DNS table by periodically receiving a first DNS response message including an IP address corresponding to the domain address, as a response to the first DNS query message, delivering the first DNS response message to the processor; transmitting a second DNS query message including the domain address to the network, and receiving a second DNS response message, as a response to the second DNS query message.

摘要: An electronic device includes at least one wireless communication circuit; a display, a processor, and a memory configured to store first information associated with new radio (NR) cell searching, the memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to receive a system information block (SIB) including information indicating that evolved terrestrial radio access network (E-UTRAN) new radio-dual connectivity (EN-DC) is possible, from a long-term evolution (LTE) base station by using the at least one wireless communication circuit; select a cell of the LTE base station based at least partly on the SIB, using the at least one wireless communication circuit; display a first indicator associated with availability of LTE on a partial region of the display, in response to selecting the cell of the LTE base station; after selecting the cell of the LTE base station, perform the NR cell searching based at least partly on the first information, using the at least one wireless communication circuit; display a second indicator associated with availability of NR on the partial region of the display, based at least partly on the result of the NR cell searching; and display a third indicator obtained by changing at least part of a color or shading of the second indicator, on the partial region of the display in response to performing data transmission to an NR base station after determining the result of the NR cell searching.

摘要: An electronic device may include: a geomagnetic sensor; a motion sensor for sensing a signal associated with a motion of a user; and a processor operatively connected, directly or indirectly, to the geomagnetic sensor and the motion sensor, wherein the processor determines whether to perform calibration of the geomagnetic sensor based on a signal measured by the geomagnetic sensor; in response to the determination to perform the calibration, identifies the motion of the user based on motion data obtained from the motion sensor; based on the identified motion of the user, determines a parameter including a range of data to be used for calibrating the geomagnetic sensor among data obtained from the geomagnetic sensor; and calibrates the geomagnetic sensor based on data extracted based on the parameter. Other various embodiments are possible.

摘要: A portable communication device includes a touch screen display; first communication circuitry configured to support a long term evolution (LTE) communication; second communication circuitry configured to support a new radio (NR) communication; a memory storing operator information indicating an operator of a mobile network and operator policy information; and at least one processor configured to receive, from an LTE base station corresponding to the mobile network via the first communication circuitry, a system information block (SIB) and a non-access stratum (NAS) message, determine, based on the SIB and the NAS message, whether dual connectivity of the LTE communication and the NR communication is available for the portable communication device, based on the operator information, the operator policy information and determining that the dual connectivity is available for the portable communication device, select an indicator from a first indicator and a second indicator, the first indicator indicating that the portable communication device is connected with the mobile network via the LTE communication, the second indicator indicating that the NR communication is available for the portable communication device to connect with the mobile network, and display the selected indicator via the touch screen display.
