Abstract: A method is provided comprising: receiving an incoming job request; estimating a first time necessary to complete the incoming job; adjusting a size of a server cluster based on the first time; and assigning the incoming job to a server that is part of the server cluster; wherein the size of the server cluster is adjusted before the incoming job is assigned to the server.
