Abstract: A method and apparatus for recommending media in response to a text input at an electronic device are provided. In the method, the electronic device displays a text input, compares the text input with media stored in a media descript database, and displays recommended media corresponding to the text input from among the stored media. When the displayed recommended media is selected, the electronic device receives the displayed recommended media as an input.
