Abstract:
An apparatus for a terminal in a wireless communication system includes a receiver configured to receive frame configuration information used by a second carrier which is operated using a Time Division Duplex (TDD) scheme and receive downlink data through downlink TDD-Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) Carrier Aggregation (CA) using a first carrier and the second carrier operated using an FDD scheme and a transmitter configured to transmit uplink data via the first carrier. The downlink data received via the second carrier is received through a downlink subframe identified by the frame configuration information.
Abstract:
A method for operating a Base Station (BS) in a wireless communication system capable of supporting a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) communication is provided. The method includes receiving at least one response message from at least one Mobile Station (MS) that has received a request message from a first MS and determining whether to allow the first MS to performs the P2P communication with a second MS based on the at least one response message.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for controlling an adaptive flow in a wireless communication system is provided. A method of a master base station in a wireless communication system, in which base stations having different cell sizes coexist, comprises the steps of: receiving load information from at least one other base station, receiving channel information about the at least one other base station from a terminal connected to the master base station, determining a secondary base station capable of load sharing for the terminal on basis of the channel information and the load information, and requesting, from the terminal, a further connection to the secondary base station. Offloading for downlink transmission of the terminal is determined based on the load information of a small cell. Furthermore, a resource distribution ratio for downlink transmission of the terminal is determined based on channel quality information reported from the terminal.
Abstract:
A method of allowing a local Driving Assistance Service (DAS) center within a base station to provide a DAS to a vehicle by using a communication network is provided. The method includes receiving, from a vehicle terminal, local DAS information and surrounding information of the vehicle, generating Analyzed-local (A-local) DAS information by using the received local DAS information, and transmitting, when the DAS is provided by using the generated A-local DAS information, the A-local DAS information to the vehicle terminal.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for a carrier aggregation (CA) operation using a Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) carrier and a Time Division Duplex (TDD) carrier in a wireless communication system are provided. The method includes receiving downlink signals via downlink FDD TDD CA using a first carrier operated in an FDD mode and a second carrier operated in a TDD mode and transmitting, via the first carrier, uplink signals corresponding to the downlink signals received via the first and second carriers.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatuses are provided for performing carrier aggregation (CA) using a plurality of almost blank subframe (ABS) patterns in a macro enhanced Node B (eNB) of a wireless communication system connected to a heterogeneous network. An ABS pattern having a different pattern is determined for each component carrier (CC), when two or more carriers are deployed in each of the macro eNB and at least one small cell eNB. A serving cell for each user equipment (UE) is determined for each CC, from among a macro cell and a small cell. CA is performed for data transmission to each UE using the determined ABS pattern, in accordance with each determined serving cell.
