Abstract: An intrabuilding location estimating apparatus and a method thereof are provided. The method includes operations of measuring a user's location by using a global positioning system (GPS) or a wireless communication-based location obtaining device in the mobile terminal, obtaining interfloor movement information of the user that is detected via a sensor in the mobile terminal, and determining a floor on which the user is located, via map information and the interfloor movement information of the user.
