Abstract: An electronic apparatus is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a communication unit configured to transmit an altered apparatus Identification (ID) and a controller configured to detect a user's action in a pairing mode of the electronic apparatus, to determine additional information according to the user's action, and to transmit the altered apparatus ID including an apparatus ID of the electronic apparatus and the additional information to another electronic apparatus that can be paired with the electronic apparatus.
