Abstract: A display device including a display panel and a driving circuit configured to drive the display panel may be provided. The display panel includes a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of data lines and a plurality of sub pixels connected to the plurality of gate lines and the plurality of data lines, respectively. The display panel has a zigzag connection structure in which RG sub pixel pairs included in a first odd-numbered row and RG sub pixel pairs included in a first even-numbered row adjacent to the first odd-numbered row are alternately connected to a first common gate line, and BG sub pixel pairs included in a second odd-numbered row and BG sub pixel pairs included in a second even-numbered row adjacent to the second odd-numbered row are alternately connected to a second common gate line.

Abstract: A display device includes an image processor configured to invert a switch signal at a change of frames, and output, based on the switch signal, one among odd column pixel data and even column pixel data among first through (2M)-th column pixel data included in a frame data, as a half frame data, a display panel including first through M-th odd column pixels coupled to first through M-th odd column lines, respectively, and first through M-th even column pixels coupled to first through M-th even column lines, respectively, and a driving circuit including first through M-th driving units including a K-th driving unit configured to drive, based on the switch signal, one among K-th odd column pixels through a K-th odd column line and K-th even column pixels through a K-th even column line, using a K-th column pixel data included in the half frame data.

Abstract: A source driver for a display device includes a gamma voltage generation circuit, first through (2m)-th data driving circuits, and a switch circuit. The gamma voltage generation circuit generates R, G and B gamma voltages. The (2k−1)-th data driving circuits consecutively receive red image data and blue image data, and consecutively generate a R driving voltage and a B driving voltage using the R gamma voltages and B gamma voltages, respectively, during one horizontal period. The (2k)-th data driving circuits consecutively receive first green image data and second green image data, and consecutively generate a G1 driving voltage and a G2 driving voltage, respectively, using the G gamma voltages during the one horizontal period. The switch circuit outputs the R, B, G1, and G2 driving voltages through different data lines from each other based on a first selection signal and a second selection signal.
