Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided for delegating content in a communication system. A terminal detects an event for delegating authority to use the content. The terminal selects at least one other terminal to which the authority can be delegated. The terminal transmits, to a server, a message requesting to delegate the authority to the selected at least one other terminal. The server delegates the authority to the at least one other terminal. The server transmits, to the terminal, a result indicating whether the authority is successfully delegated or not.
