摘要: Focus data of a remote user is analyzed to determine a focus shift from a first area to a second area at an event arena. A beacon density is computed at the second area, where the beacon density includes a number of physical beacons corresponding to a number of local users at the second area, a number of virtual beacons corresponding to a number of remote users focused on the second area, or a combination of thereof. When the beacon density at the second area exceeds a threshold density, an instruction to a streaming source is generated. The streaming source is caused to change a streaming content, to form changed streaming content that is related to the second area.

摘要: In one aspect, a method includes a first computing-system (i) selecting a social media (SM) content item associated with a second computing-system, (ii) based on the selected SM content item, determining a SM-platform user-profile identifier associated with the selected SM content item, (iii) using the identifier to determine that the second computing-system has installed, in its data storage unit, an application associated with the first computing-system, (iv) responsive to determining that the second computing-system has installed the application, transmitting, to the second computing-system, an instruction that causes the application to provide, via a user interface of the second computing-system, a permission request concerning use of the selected SM content item, (v) determining that the requested permission was received via the user interface, and (vi) responsive to determining that the requested permission was received via the user interface, facilitating integration of the selected SM content item into a media program.

The first information includes information required for decoding a first sub frame among the plurality of sub frames. Therefore, a processing delay in a receiving apparatus is reduced.

摘要: A technique allows stations to utilize an equal share of resources (e.g., airtime or throughput). This prevents slow stations from consuming too many resources (e.g., using up too much air time). Fairness is ensured by selective dropping after a multicast packet is converted to unicast. This prevents slow stations from using more than their share of buffer resources. Multicast conversion aware back-pressure into the network layer can be used to prevent unnecessary dropping of packets after multicast to unicast (1:n) conversion by considering duplicated transmit buffers. This technique helps achieve airtime/resource fairness among stations.
