An apparatus for displaying a shortcut icon window of a mobile device includes: a display unit that displays a first layer including a plurality of first shortcut icons for executing different applications and a second layer including a shortcut icon window having one or more second shortcut icons, the second layer being located on the first layer; and a controller that, when at least one of the first shortcut icons is selected, controls to display the shortcut icon window on an execution screen of an application corresponding to the selected at least one first shortcut icon.

Various embodiments of the present invention may comprise: a display unit for displaying a screen corresponding to a virtual reality mode; and a control unit for sensing an interrupt due to occurrence of at least one event, changing event-related information related to the occurred event to a form corresponding to the virtual reality mode, and controlling the changed event-related information to be displayed on the screen operated corresponding to the virtual reality mode. In addition, other embodiments are possible for the various embodiments of the present invention.
Abstract:
A device and a method of setting an input detection region of a user interface displayed on a display of an electronic device are provided. The electronic device displays user interfaces in a first region, receives user input through the display from the outside of the first region, checks whether the user input was provided by a finger or electronic pen, determines whether the user input is in a second region, which is adjacent to the first region and surrounds the first region, when the user input was provided by a finger, determines whether the user input is in a third region, which is adjacent to the first region, surrounds the first region, and is positioned inside the second region, when the user input was provided by an electronic pen, and enables the application to use the user input, as if the user input was provided in the first region.
