Abstract: An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device includes a display panel, a partial region of the display panel including an active region configured to output light and including a cut in a thickness direction of the display panel, a touch sensor formed on the display panel, a partial region of the touch sensor corresponding to the cut region of the display panel, including a cut in a thickness direction of the touch sensor, and a polarizing plate disposed on the display panel, a partial region of the polarizing plate corresponding to the cut region of the display panel, including a cut in a thickness direction of the polarizing plate, and a cut surface of the display panel, a cut surface of the touch sensor, and a cut surface of the polarizing plate are formed to coincide with each other.

Abstract: An electronic device disclosed herein includes a cover glass, a display panel exposed through the cover glass, a flexible substrate extending from a periphery of the display panel and bent and positioned on a rear surface of the display panel, a display driver integrated circuit (DDI) disposed on the flexible substrate, a sensing circuit disposed on the flexible substrate and electrically connected with the display driver integrated circuit, signal lines that transmit a signal to sub-pixels arranged on the display panel, and a sensing line passing through a peripheral portion of the display panel and the flexible substrate and electrically connected with at least some of the signal lines through the sensing circuit.

Abstract: A display arranged over a fingerprint sensor according to an embodiment of the disclosure may include a cover glass, a display panel arranged below the cover glass, a first driver that applies a signal to a first pixel group arranged in a first area corresponding to the fingerprint sensor on the display panel, a second driver that applies a signal to a second pixel group arranged in a second area that does not overlap the first area on the display panel, and a controller that causes the first driver to apply an enable signal to the first pixel group to enable the first driver to emit light when a finger touches a fingerprint sensing area corresponding to the fingerprint sensor on the cover glass.

Abstract: Disclosed is a portable communication device including a cover window, a display panel including an active area and an inactive area substantially surrounding the active area, the active area including a plurality of pixels and the inactive area including no pixels, a flexible substrate including a first portion connected with the display panel, and a second portion extended from the first portion and bent below a rear surface of the display panel; a display driver integrated circuit (DDI) disposed in the second portion of the flexible substrate, a sensing circuit disposed in the flexible substrate not to be overlapped with the DDI, a plurality of signal lines each electrically connected between the DDI and at least one pixel of the plurality of pixels, and configured to be used to transmit a signal from the DDI to the at least one pixel, and a sensing line disposed in the flexible substrate and the inactive area except the active area and including a first ending portion which is electrically connected with a power line, and a second ending portion which is electrically connected with at least one signal line of the plurality of signal lines via the sensing circuit.
