Abstract: Provided are a method and system for executing an application installed in a device, the device and a recording medium thereof. The method includes: receiving a mapping request signal for requesting a mapping between application execution information and a short run indicator, acquiring the application execution information from an execution starting point of the application up to the receiving of the mapping request signal; generating mapping information comprising a mapping of the acquired application execution information with the short run indicator; and storing the mapping information in at least one of the device and an external device.
