Abstract: A heat exchanger and an air conditioner including the same. The heat exchanger includes a plurality of heat transfer tubes formed in a flat shape and configured to allow a refrigerant to flow in a vertical direction therein. The heat transfer tube includes a gas refrigerant region including one end connected to a refrigerant inlet port and another end disposed above the refrigerant inlet port; a two-phase refrigerant region including one end connected to the other end of the gas refrigerant region and another end disposed below a refrigerant outlet port; and a liquid refrigerant region including one end connected to the other end of the two-phase refrigerant region and another end connected to the refrigerant outlet port.

Abstract: A heat exchanger is provided. The heat exchanger includes a configuration in which a heat transfer tube having a flat shape passes through a plurality of fins, and capable of securing drainage performance of condensed water retained on a surface of the heat transfer tube while improving a heat transfer rate, and further capable of suppressing an increase in ventilation resistance. The heat exchanger includes a heat transfer tube formed in a flat shape, and a plurality of fins, and a refrigerant flowing inside the heat transfer tube exchanges heat with air flowing between the plurality of fins. The fin includes a heat transfer expansion surface including a peak portion and a valley portion provided along an air flow direction, and a drain structure provided to overlap the heat transfer expansion surface.

Abstract: The present disclosure is to reduce a blowing resistance while securing a mechanical strength of a fan guard.An outdoor unit 100 includes a housing 10 in which an air discharge port X is formed on an upper wall 11, a blowing fan 20 disposed inside the housing 10 to correspond to the air discharge port X, and a fan guard 30 configured to cover the blowing fan 20, wherein the fan guard 30 includes a plurality of annular ribs 32 disposed to be spaced apart from each other in a radial direction of the blowing fan 20, and radial ribs 33 configured to connect a plurality of the annular ribs 32, and wherein the radial ribs 33 are formed such that free ends 3a thereof are bent in the same direction in a cross section orthogonal to a stretching direction and a pair of opposing piece portions 3b including each of the free ends 3a are in surface contact with each other.

Abstract: An air conditioner including a distributor configured to distribute a fluid to a heat exchanger. The distributor comprises a main pipe; a partition defining a plurality of distribution paths in the main pipe; a first branched pipe inserted into the main pipe as much as first length, linked to a first distribution path of the plurality of distribution paths, connected to a first portion of the heat exchanger; and a second branched pipe inserted into the main pipe as much as second length different from the first length, linked to the first distribution path, connected to a second portion of the heat exchanger. A flow velocity of air exchanging heat at the first portion of the heat exchanger is faster than a flow velocity of air exchanging heat at the second portion of the heat exchanger. The first length is shorter than the second length.
