Abstract: In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a washing machine includes a rotating tub configured to accommodate laundry, a water supply pipe configured to spray water over a surface of the laundry. The washing machine also includes a controller configured to execute a water supply cycle in which an operation of each of the rotating tub and the water supply pipe is controlled and water is supplied to the rotating tub. The washing machine further includes a wash cycle in which the laundry is washed and the controller executes a first cycle in which the rotating tub is rotated faster than a rotational speed in the wash cycle so as to discharge air contained inside the laundry before the wash cycle is terminated.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a top load washing machine having excellent functions while saving water. The washing machine may include a housing having a drain path installed at the bottom, a water collecting tub supported on the housing in the inside of the housing, and a rotating tub rotating on a shaft extending vertically in the inside of the water collecting tub. The rotating tub may include an outlet opening to the lower portion of a body member that can store water independently from the water collecting tub. The water collecting tub may include a first drain hole opening to the inside space of the water collecting tub, and a second drain hole communicating with the outlet. The drain path may include a first path connected to the first drain hole, and a second path connected to the second drain hole.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a drum type washing machine capable of obtaining a high-water saving effect. The drum type washing machine comprises at least one processor configured to control a drive device configured to rotate a drum, a water supplier configured to supply water to a tub, and a sprinkler configured to spray water stored in the tub toward laundry accommodated in the drum. The drum comprises a lifter and a plurality of rear through-holes. The at least one processor is configured to perform a water spray process while rotating the drum in a state in which an amount of wash water absorbable by the laundry is maintained in the tub, in a washing cycle. In the water spray process, a waiting process, in which driving a circulation pump 91 is stopped, is intermittently and repeatedly performed.

Abstract: A drum type washing machine capable of realizing weight reduction and improvement in washing performance at low cost is provided. A drum type washing machine is disclosed. A pulsator is installed rotatably at a bottom of the drum rotatably accommodated in a tub. A motor configured to rotate forward and backward rotationally drives the drum and the pulsator. A control device executes a washing mode in which the motor is driven at a low rotation and a spinning mode in which the motor is driven at a high rotation. The pulsator and the drum have different velocity ratios. A second drive transmission element of the pulsator includes a clutch. Based on executing the washing mode, the drum is rotationally driven while the pulsator is rotationally driven or is allowed to idle. Based on executing the spinning mode, the drum is rotationally driven while the pulsator is allowed to idle.

Abstract: Provided is a washing machine motor capable of efficiently generating torque by improving a winding factor of coils with a relatively simple configuration. The washing machine motor (12) has an outer rotor (20), an inner rotor (30), and a stator (60). The outer rotor (20) and the inner rotor (30) share coils (63) of the stator (60), and a composite current is supplied to the coils (63) such that the outer rotor (20) and the inner rotor (30) are independently driven. The outer rotor (20) has forty eight outer magnets (24) arranged such that the N and S poles thereof are continuously and alternately aligned in the circumferential direction thereof. The inner rotor (30) has forty-two inner magnets (34) arranged such that the N and S poles thereof are continuously and alternately aligned in the circumferential direction thereof. The stator (60) has thirty-six I-shaped cores (61) and the coils (63).
