Abstract: The disclosure is related to a method performed by a network entity in a wireless communication system. The method may include: receiving, from a terminal, a message indicating that the terminal joins or leaves a multicast and broadcast service (MBS) session using non access stratum (NAS) signaling; and transmitting, to a base station, information indicating that the terminal is to join or leave the MBS session based on the message.
