    Abstract: A method for associating and authenticating a station (STA) with a coordinated access point (AP) group may include generating a pairwise master key (PMK) between the STA and a coordinator of the coordinated AP group, and maintaining an association and authentication state between the STA and the coordinated AP group based on the PMK. The method may further include generating one or more temporal keys between the STA and the coordinator based on the PMK. The method may further include distributing the PMK from the coordinator to a first member AP and a second member AP of the coordinated AP group. The method may further include generating a first temporal key between the STA and the first member AP, and generating a second temporal key between the STA and the second member AP.

    Abstract: An operation method of a transmitting device such as an access point providing wireless communication includes receiving a feedback of channel response information from an external communication device, generating a beam steering matrix based on the channel response information, generating a power allocation matrix based on an average SNR for each of a plurality of streams included in the channel response information, and performing beamforming on the external communication device based on the generated power allocation matrix and the generated beam steering matrix. The channel response information is a compressed beamforming feedback of multiple input multiple output single user beamforming. A first power allocated to a first stream, of which an average SNR is a first value, from among the plurality of streams is larger than a second power allocated to a second stream, of which an average SNR is a second value greater than the first value.

    Abstract: A system and method for dynamic access point (AP) selection by a station (STA) in a coordinated AP group is herein disclosed. According to an embodiment, a STA obtains one or more link quality metrics for each link between the STA and each of a plurality of member APs in the coordinated AP group. The STA dynamically selects at least one anchor AP for the STA from the plurality of member APs based on the one or more link quality metrics for each link. The at least one anchor AP being used to relay transmission between the STA and a coordinator of the coordinated AP group. Authentication of the STA with the at least one anchor AP is shared with all APs in the coordinated AP group, allowing the STA to utilize any subsequently selected anchor AP to relay transmissions without re-authentication.

    Abstract: Methods and devices are provided for multi-link transmission opportunity aggregation. A first enhanced ready to send (RTS) transmission is received on a first link. A second enhanced RTS transmission is received on a second link. The second enhanced RTS transmission is received concurrently with the first enhanced RTS transmission. At least one non-overlapping clear to send (CTS) transmission is transmitted over the first link and/or the second link. A first transmission is received over the first link. The first transmission includes a first packet extension (PE). A second transmission is received over the second link. The second transmission is received concurrently with the first transmission and includes a second PE. Feedback with respect to both the first transmission and the second transmission is transmitted over one of the first link and the second link after reception of a respective one of the first PE and the second PE.
