Abstract: The disclosure relates to a communication technique for converging Internet of things (IoT) technology with 5th generation (5G) communication systems designed to support a higher data transfer rate beyond 4th generation (4G) systems, and a system therefor. The disclosure may be applied to intelligent services (e.g., smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, smart cars or connected cars, healthcare, digital education, retail business, security and safety-related services, etc.) on the basis of 5G communication technology and IoT-related technology. A method for dynamically allocating a resource to a network slice in a wireless communication system is provided.
