Abstract: An electronic device includes an antenna, a radio frequency front end (RFFE) connected to the antenna through an electrical path and including a power amplifier (PA). The electronic device includes a control circuit operably coupled to the RFFE and configured to control the output of the PA in order to transmit a sounding reference signal (SRS) based on a first value which is a target transmit (Tx) power value of the SRS to be transmitted to a base station through the antenna, a second value for compensating a power loss caused by the electric path when providing the SRS to the antenna through the electric path, and whether a third value obtained based on the first value and the second value is less than or equal to a reference value or greater than the reference value.

Abstract: According to various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device comprises: a connector comprising a conductive shell and at least one terminal arranged inside the conductive shell; a capacitor; and a circuit board comprising a first board layer at least partially facing the connector, a second board layer formed beneath the first board layer, and at least one third board layer formed between the first board layer and the second board layer. The circuit substrate comprises: a ground area made of a conductor formed at least one of the first board layer, the second board layer, or the at least one third board layer and electrically connected to the conductive shell through the capacitor while being connected to a ground portion of the electronic device; a first conductive area which is a partial area of the first board layer facing the connector, the first conductive area being made of a conductor having a first size and electrically connected to the conductive shell; and a second conductive area which is an area of the second board layer at least partially facing the first conductive area with the at least one third substrate layer interposed therebetween, the second conductive area being made of a conductor having a second size wider than the first size and electrically connected to the first conductive area. At least one of the first conductive area and the second conductive area may be arranged adjacent to the ground area such that the first conductive area and the second conductive area are electrically separated from the ground area.

The electronic device includes a first millimeter wave (mmWave) antenna module including a first array antenna, an intermediate frequency (IF) circuit electrically connected to the first mmWave antenna module through a first path, an ultra-wide band (UWB) antenna disposed to be adjacent to the first path, a UWB circuit electrically connected to the UWB antenna, and at least one processor electrically connected to the IF circuit and the UWB circuit, wherein the at least one processor controls the IF circuit to provide a signal of a first frequency band to the first mmWave antenna module, controls the UWB circuit to acquire, through the UWB antenna, a signal of a second frequency band partially overlapping the first frequency band, and may deactivate the UWB antenna or stop communication using the first mmWave antenna module according to whether a specified condition associated with the UWB antenna is satisfied.

Abstract: An antenna for a wireless terminal is disclosed with an antenna bushing configured to provide enhanced antenna performance. The antenna bushing includes an antenna guide portion having an upper tubular portion supporting a radiator at substantially a point of extraction from the wireless terminal. A bushing fastening portion is disposed adjacent the upper tubular portion. A signal contact point of the antenna bushing transfers an antenna signal to/from an RF circuit point of the wireless terminal. At least a portion of the signal contact point is adjacent the upper tubular portion. The configuration may reduce deleterious effects of EMI from other circuit components of the wireless terminal.
