Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing, a flexible display configured to slide into or out of the housing, an actuator configured to pull in at least a portion of the flexible display into the housing or pull out at least a portion of the flexible display from the housing, a memory, and a processor. The processor is configured to display a visual object for guiding to change a state of a display region to a reference state, based on identifying that the state of the display region is distinguished from the reference state.
