Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing, a flexible display configured to slide into or out of the housing, an actuator configured to pull in at least a portion of the flexible display into the housing or pull out at least a portion of the flexible display from the housing, a memory, and a processor. The processor is configured to display a visual object for guiding to change a state of a display region to a reference state, based on identifying that the state of the display region is distinguished from the reference state.

Abstract: An electronic device comprises: a display, a processor operatively connected to the display, and a memory operatively connected to the processor. The memory may include instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to: detect events related to the display of content; apply a gradient graphic effect to at least a partial region of a background image based on a distance from a first region in which the content is displayed; and display, through the display, the background image and the content that has had the gradient graphic effect applied thereto.
