    摘要： A server for transmitting and receiving messages for a Signaling (S) layer in a Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) Media Transport (MMT) is provided. The server includes a first sub-layer of the S layer for producing first messages to provide information used for the use of MPEG a second sub-layer of the S layer for producing second messages to provide information used for delivering MPEG media, and a Delivery (D) layer for making external and internal deliveries of the first and the second messages, wherein each of the first and the second messages includes at least one field corresponding to each of the message type, version, length, extension field and payload.

    摘要： A method and an apparatus for synchronizing media data and auxiliary data received by a service through a broadcast network or a communication network in a multimedia broadcast service are provided. The method includes receiving regular media data provided for a broadcast service, receiving and storing control information regarding adjunct media data comprising auxiliary data regarding the regular media data, determining location information of the adjunct media data included in the control information, and receiving and storing the adjunct media data according to the location information. If an identifier of the adjunct media data is included in a header of the regular media data, reading the stored adjunct media data corresponding to the identifier of the adjunct media data, and executing the adjunct media data in synchronization with the regular media data according to synchronization information included in the header.

The method includes, upon receiving Composition Information (CI) from an MMT server, acquiring signaling information for D-CAS or D-DRM, which is included in the CI, acquiring, from the signaling information, an address of a server from which software of D-CAS or D-DRM is downloadable, generating a request for the software based on the signaling information, and sending the request for the software to the server address.
