Accordingly, lifespan characteristics of the lithium battery may be improved and the amount of gas generation may be reduced.

The high-capacity lithium secondary battery may have improved lifespan characteristics at high temperatures as well as at room temperature by including a fluorine-containing alkylene carbonate compound and a silylamide compound in an electrolyte thereof.
