Abstract: Partial esters of polycarboxylic acids having the structure ##STR1## wherein R is the radical remaining after removal of the hydroxyl group of a straight chain linear aliphatic alcohol having 12-22 carbon atoms, n is a number of 0-5, and R' is a specified bivalent grouping which are effective collectors for non-sulfide minerals in froth flotation.
