摘要： A retaining assembly includes a hollow casing mounted on a door. The casing has a horizontal wall portion formed with a through-hole and an upright rotary shaft which has an end portion that extends out of the casing through the wall portion and which is rotatable relative to the casing. A coupling rod has a first end portion connected pivotally to a door frame and a second end portion connected to the end portion of the shaft so as to, drive rotatably the shaft in a first direction when the door moves relative to the door frame to an open position. A pin has an end portion which is normally biased to extend out of the casing via the through-hole. An elongated positioning plate has a first end portion and a second end portion which is coupled releasably and selectively to the end portion of the shaft such that the first end portion is displaced by a variable initial angle, corresponding to the open position, with respect to the pin when the door is in a closed position. The positioning plate is rotatable with the shaft in the first direction to a position where the pin engages the first end portion of the positioning plate by a friction force sufficient to arrest releasably rotation of the shaft in a second direction opposite to the first direction so as to retain releasably the door at the open position.

摘要： A latch bolt operating device is adapted for use with a latch bolt unit that is installed in a door panel, and includes exterior and interior operating units. The exterior operating unit includes a key-operated plug-and-cylinder lock assembly, and an exterior housing having an outer annular cover, an inner annular cover and an annular shield. The outer annular cover has a rear end portion formed with a first annular shoulder. The inner annular cover is received in the outer annular cover and has a rear end portion formed with a second annular shoulder. The annular shield extends into the rear end portion of the inner annular cover and has a peripheral portion which engages the second annular shoulder when the latter is bent. The interior operating unit includes a torque bar and an interior housing. The torque bar can be positioned releasably in a first position corresponding to an extended position of a bolt of the latch bolt unit and a second position corresponding to a retracted position of the bolt.

摘要： A door lock includes a deadbolt assembly and a lock housing assembly. The deadbolt assembly has a bolt member which includes a metal inner sleeve, a metal outer sleeve fitted over the inner sleeve and made of a material which is different from that of the metal inner sleeve and which has anti-corrosion properties, and a security bar disposed axially in the inner sleeve. The lock housing assembly includes an exterior housing section with a cylindrical chamber that receives rotatably an exterior lock cylinder unit therein. The lock cylinder unit has a key-operated rotary plug with a rearwardly projecting spindle that is connected operably to the deadbolt assembly. An interior sleeve member is formed as a cylindrical wall with a front end which is secured to the rear side of the lock cylinder unit and a rear end which is formed with diametrically opposite notches. The deadbolt assembly extends through the sleeve member via the notches. A pair of bolts pass through bolt holes of an interior housing section, the mounting holes of the side plates, the front end of the sleeve member, and engage threadedly the threaded holes of the lock cylinder unit.

摘要： A reinforcing apparatus for a lever handle of a door lock includes a housing fixed to a door and provided around a driving shaft of the door lock. The housing has a wall transverse to the driving shaft. The wall has a hole formed therethrough for passage of the driving shaft. A rotary member is mounted in the housing for rotating simultaneously with the driving shaft. The rotary member is sleeved on the driving shaft and has an engaging plate which projects axially from an outer peripheral edge thereof. A coiled spring is provided around the rotary member for biasing the rotary member to return and maintain the lever handle at its original unoperated position after the rotary member is rotated by the lever handle. The coiled spring has two legs extending radially outwardly to abut against the engaging plate. One of the legs is displaceable by the engaging plate. The housing further includes a stopping unit provided on the wall thereof. The stopping unit is aligned radially with and is located outwardly of the engaging pate when the lever handle is in the unoperated position. The other one of the legs is kept immobilized by the stopping unit when the rotary member rotates.

摘要： A cylindrical door lock set includes inner and outer knob supporting plates, a turning mechanism, an annular mounting plate and a latch unit. The outer knob supporting plate has a central hole and an inner side provided with a pair of posts on two sides of the central hole. The posts are hollow and are threaded internally. The turning mechanism is supported on the inner side of the outer knob supporting plate and is provided with a turn shaft. The annular mounting plate is secured on the inner side of the outer knob supporting plate and is formed with a pair of mounting shafts and a central hole to permit the turn shaft of the turning mechanism to extend therethrough. The latch unit is formed with a shaft engaging hole to permit the turn shaft to extend therethrough, and two side holes disposed on two sides of the shaft engaging hole in a lengthwise direction of the latch unit to receive respectively the mounting shafts. The latch unit is disposed between the posts of the outer knob supporting plate. The inner knob supporting plate is formed with a pair of holes which are aligned with the posts. Bolts pass through the holes of the inner knob supporting plate and engage a respective one of the posts.

摘要： An improved duplex latch-bolt mechanism is composed of a latch-bolt head assembly and a latch-bolt transfer device adapted to make a selectable connection with a standard latch-handle assembly having a square transfer member and a pair of cylindrical support nuts provided for use in a door fitting arrangement. The latch-bolt transfer device includes: a bolt extracting member with a central open section connected to the latch-bolt head assembly; an upper coupling member and a lower coupling member, connected around the extracting member, each formed with a plurality of selectable openings; a displacement member with a cam through opening ajustably joined with the upper and lower coupling members for being operated to define two selectable positions along with the upper and lower coupling members according to the door fitting arrangement; a cam setting device movably disposed in the open section of the bolt extracting member for being connected to the square transfer member during the performance of locking and unlocking operations; and a transfer locking member disposed on the displacement member for keeping the cam setting device in position.
