    摘要： A latch spacer for securing a latch assembly in a hollow inner region of a door. The latch spacer includes a plurality of sidewalls. At least a portion of the sidewalk abut against inner surfaces of the sidewalls of the door to provide a friction fit that secures the latch spacer within the inner region. The latch spacer also includes an inner wall that generally defines an opening that is adapted to receive placement of at least a portion of a latch housing. The latch spacer may include at least one crush rib that extends from the sidewalls of the latch spacer. The latch spacer may be arranged in a plurality of orientations to accommodate various door thicknesses. Additionally, portions of the latch spacer may be configured to bend or flex slightly to assist in the latch spacer being able to adjust to different door thicknesses.

    摘要： A vehicle door latch mechanism includes a resin body, a base plate and a sub base plate nipping this body. The body has an accommodating portion capable of accommodating a latch and a pawl, an insertion groove through which a striker is inserted, a cantilever support portion nipping the striker with a facing inner wall surface, a receiving portion for restricting inclination of the cantilever support portion to a predetermined amount, and a cushion accommodating portion capable of accommodating a cushion for pressing the cantilever support portion toward the striker. A support portion for suppressing a deformation of the receiving portion when a free front end of the cantilever support portion is engaged with the receiving portion is provided in the sub base plate.

The protector comprises a shaft to which a removable handle is attached, a plate adapted to be fastened to a door, and a shroud extending from the plate and surrounding a portion of the shaft when the removable handle is removed. The shroud is adapted to receive a puck lock for engagement with the shaft when the removable handle is removed. The shroud is adapted to receive the removable handle for engagement with the shaft when the puck lock is removed. The removable handle is operable to rotate the shaft and effect operation of the latch mechanism between latched and unlatched positions. The shroud includes a slot and the removable handle includes a tab such that when the removable handle is rotated, the tab of the removable handle engages the slot of the shroud.

    摘要： The present invention relates to a door mounting having two door plates and a biasing element for biasing the two door plates against a door leaf and/or against each other under tension, wherein the biasing element lies in an insertion opening of the door leaf provided for a locking cylinder when the two door plates are fixed to the door leaf. According to the invention, the fixing of the door mounting is realized substantially without additional drilled holes and respective screws only by means of a biasing element. Since the biasing element is arranged within an already existing opening in the door leaf, the drilling of additional fixing holes in the door leaf is not necessary.
