    摘要: In methods and an apparatus for registering two medical images of a subject, a first image is compared with a first anatomical atlas and a second image with a second anatomical atlas, to generate labels for anatomical features in each image. The first anatomical atlas has at least two anatomical features in common with the second, and each label includes a suggested location of the anatomical feature to which it relates. A number of labels are identified for each image, and a value of a similarity function between labels of the respective images is calculated. The two images are registered based on the value of the similarity function.

    摘要: In a method and apparatus for processing medical imaging data of a subject are disclosed, the data having a physiological or anatomical feature of interest, from a first set of the imaging data, an intensity projection line along a specified axis of an image volume of the data is generated. The projection line is converted to a monogenic signal and phase information extracted from the signal. A function of the phase information is calculated, and the thus processed phase information is used to locate the feature of interest in the first data set, or to register the feature of interest with a second data set.

    摘要: In a method for estimating an orientation of a cardiac long axis from corresponding early frame and late frame images implemented in a computerized processor, a bounding box of the myocardium is defined in the late frame image and the bounding box is applied to the early frame image. A main axis of the image of the early frame within the bounding box is estimated, and the image of the early frame is oriented according to the estimated main axis. A main axis of the image of the late frame within the bounding box is also estimated, and the late frame image is reoriented according to the estimated main axis. The estimated main axis of the early frame to the estimated main axis of the late frame are compared, and in attribute of the comparison result is made available as an output from the processor.
