At least one of the paired planetary gears is attached movably in the longitudinal direction of the axis of that planetary shaft, so that these planetary gears approach mutually or separate from each other in the axial direction of the respective planetary shaft.

摘要： A steering wheel having a telephone includes a pad portion secured to a steering shaft, wherein the pad portion comprises a base held on the steering shaft and a telephone detachably held on the base, the base has a receiving recess and a swing projection with which the telephone is engaged, and the telephone has an engaging recess in engagement with the swing projection and a radio communication means for transferring signals. Therefore, the driver can use the telephone of the present invention in his driving attitude without picking up it during operation of the steering wheel and other occupants can also pick up it from the steering wheel.

摘要： A relay arrangement for transmitting electrical signals from various switches of an automobile to various devices controlled by the switches comprises a cable, and a boss plate rotatably held to the steering shaft of the automobile. The cable has a spiral winding between two sun gears, and the boss plate extends between two neighboring turns of the winding. The number of turns of the winding is in excess of the maximum number of revolutions that the steering wheel can make. When the boss plate is rotated during the rotation of the steering wheel, the plate slides through the winding in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the winding.

摘要： A steering wheel of the stationary pad type includes a steering shaft carrying thereon a boss plate, a first sun gear secured to a column and a second sun gear secured to a pad. At least one planetary shaft is rotatably supported on the boss plate, and has one end on which a first planetary gear meshing with the first sun gear is supported, while a second planetary gear meshing with the second sun gear is supported on the other end of the planetary shaft. The first and second planetary gears are normally held by a resilient device in intimate engagement with the first and second sun gears, respectively, but displaceable therefrom in the event foreign matter is caught between the planetary and sun gears.

摘要： A pad holder mechanism for use in a steering wheel includes circular guide members mounted respectively on a steering column and a pad disposed one on each side of a boss plate in an axial direction of a steering shaft, the guide members being immovable in the axial direction of the steering shaft. The guide members have continuous cam elements displaced in the axial direction throughout their circumferential length. The boss plate supports a pair of coacting members having opposite ends movable in phase along the cam elements on the guide members. The coacting members and the guide members are relatively positioned such that when the ends of one of the coacting members are positioned at peaks of the displaced cam elements, the ends of the other coacting member are located in positions other than peaks of the displaced cam elements.

摘要： Herein disclosed is a steering wheel structure which has a stationary pad. On a steering shaft, there are mounted a boss plate of the steering wheel and column-side and pad-side sun gears. The boss plate is formed with at least one mounting recess which is opened to the outside. In this mounting recess, there is rotatably mounted through an intermediate member at least one planetary shaft which has column-side and pad-side planetary gears at its two ends.
