    摘要: A lamp clamp uses a portion of the lamp as a moveable clamping jaw. This portion is screw-threaded into a threaded aperture of one of the arms of a C-shaped member. The other arm of the C-shaped member includes an object-engaging portion which further includes two pressure pads separated by a dished portion. The C-shaped member includes a coextensive flange around the inner periphery of the "C". The flange assists in stabilizing the clamp against the object, such as, the side edge of a worktable. The end of the moveable portion is attached to a swivel head which is pivotably engageable with the object in several orientations. The arrangement is especially useful when it is desired to mount a flashlight having a flexible stem (such as the Black & Decker.RTM. SnakeLight.TM. flashlight). The moveable clamping jaw defines a cylindrical tube into which is slideably mounted the graspable portion of the flashlight. Inasmuch as the graspable portion includes a tab member, an elongated groove is formed in the lamp-receiving receptacle moveable clamping jaw so that the tab may slideably and snugly engage the groove, and, accordingly, maintain a specific orientation relative to the worksurface. All of the component parts are made of plastic.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus relate to systems and methods of recovering oil from a formation. In operation, a steam chamber develops as a result of steam injection into the formation and the recovery of fluids including the oil through a production well. An auxiliary well spaced in a lateral direction from the production well helps ensure development of the steam chamber as desired. The auxiliary well may enable heating of the formation through establishing an electric potential between the auxiliary well and the production well or by resistive heating of material forming the auxiliary well. Further, the auxiliary well may provide a flow path for solvent or gas injection to facilitate the recovery through the production well.

    摘要: A system and method for in situ upgrading of crude oil is provided. The system includes at least one injection well, at least two first production wells, and at least one second production well. The at least one injection well has a vertical portion and a plurality of non-vertical portions connected to the vertical portion. The at least two first production wells are preferably equi-spaced and each has a horizontal portion with a first axial direction, wherein each said horizontal portion of the first production wells is horizontally spaced apart. The at least one second production well has a horizontal portion with a second axial direction. The catalytic reactor is placed at the horizontal portion of the at least one second production well such that oil coming through the second production well will first go through the catalytic reactor for hydroprocessing.

    摘要: A hangtag is provided that is capable of hanging and securing a tool, such as socket. The invention pertains to a hangtag mechanism that includes a locking mechanism for securing a socket style tool. The hangtag has a body portion having a front surface and a back surface, a hanging mechanism connected to the body portion, and a tool supporting mechanism also connected to the body portion for supporting a tool. The tool supporting mechanism includes first and second legs and a locking finger disposed between the first and second legs. The locking mechanism allows the particular tool to be reattached to the hangtag assembly after it is initially unlocked. This allows the hangtag to function as a storage and organization device for the tool.
