    摘要: An electrophotographic facsimile apparatus is provided with a main body, a recording mechanism substantially arranged in the main body, for printing received image information onto a recording paper fed through a recording paper path by using electrophotography, and an upper structure is disposed on the main body. The electrophotographic facsimile apparatus further includes an image recording head disposed in the upper structure for reading image information of a document to be transmitted, and an operation unit for inputting operation information. The recording paper path is formed between the main body and the upper structure, and inclines obliquely downward along a direction in which the recording paper is fed. The upper structure has an inclined upper surface parallel with the recording paper path. The operation unit is disposed on the inclined upper surface of the upper structure.

    摘要: In a sheet warp prevention mechanism adapted to be positioned in an imaging device for forming a visible image, the imaging device includes a pair of rollers adapted to be brought into and out of contact with each other in accordance with a rocking operation of one of the pair of rollers about a predetermined shaft member. The one of the pair of rollers which is arranged to be rotated in a predetermined direction for feeding the continuous sheet has a gear member coaxially provided therewith which is brought into engagement with another gear member coaxially provided with the shaft member about which the roller rotates. A driving source for driving both the one of the pair of rollers and a feeding member for feeding the continuous sheet toward the pair of rollers, and a transmitting mechanism for transmitting the driving force toward the pair of rollers is also included. The sheet warp prevention mechanism include an inhibiting member, provided between the transmitting mechanism and the another gear member, for inhibiting transmission of the rotating force of the one of the pair of rollers to the transmitting mechanism. Thus it becomes possible to prevent the warp of the sheet caused by an undesirable feeding operation.

    摘要: This invention relates to a motor velocity control method and storage device for performing loading/unloading control of a head that reads from a storage medium in order to move it away from the storage medium. In order to detect accurate velocity from the counter electromotive voltage of the motor for performing loading/unloading control, the storage device comprises a storage medium 6, head 4, actuator 3, control circuit 19 and ramp 11. Velocity control is performed by using the velocity detected from the counter electromotive voltage of the actuator 3 in the unloading/loading control of moving the head 4 away from the storage medium 6. Moreover, the transient response voltage of the actuator is calculated and the detected voltage is corrected. Furthermore, the velocity offset coefficient for converting the counter electromotive voltage to velocity is calibrated. Also, the velocity correction coefficient for converting the counter electromotive voltage to velocity is calibrated. This makes it possible to obtain accurate velocity from the counter electromotive voltage.

Deformation of the frame, lens and retainer due to the load generated as the retainer presses the lens absorbs deformation of the frame, lens and retainer due to temperature change at least within a predetermined temperature range.

    摘要: An aluminum alloy containing Si: 1.5-12% (mass % here and hereinafter), Mg: 0.5-6% and, optionally, at least one of Mn: 0.5-2%, Cu: 0.15-3% and Cr: 0.04-0.35% and, further, containing Ti: 0.01-0.1% and the balance of Al and inevitable impurities, in which the average grain size of crystallized grains of Si system compounds is from 2 to 20 .mu.m and an area ratio thereof is from 2 to 12%. The alloy is melted to obtain a cast ingot having DAS (Dendrite Arm Spacing) of 10 to 50 .mu.m, which is then put to a soaking treatment at 450 to 520.degree. C. and then to extrusion molding. The aluminum alloy has excellent machinability with no addition of low melting metals.
