摘要: A disc drive for suppressing warpage deformation of a disc tray generated as initial deformation during molding is provided. A supporting structure of a disc tray 4 provided to be inserted into and ejected from a drive housing 1′ through a tray insertion/ejection opening 15 is provided with guide mechanisms 12a and 12b which slidably support a tray body 4a in the depth direction as viewed from the tray insertion/ejection opening 15 in an interior space of the drive housing 1′, and a protrusion 21 which is slidably contacted to an upper end of the guide mechanism 12a on a lower surface of a wing part 4b protruding from the tray body 4a on the side where a disc protrudes in the width direction.

摘要: An optical disk apparatus includes a tray mounting an optical disk and a casing which stores the tray so that the tray may be inserted into and ejected from the casing. The tray has a guide rail on at least one of parallel sides relative to the direction of tray insertion or ejection and for guiding the movement of tray in the direction of tray insertion or ejection. The casing has rail guides formed on a side section of the casing in opposition with the guide rails when the tray is inserted and for guiding the guide rail, and a spring member formed on a frontend of the rail guides in the direction of tray insertion or ejection to provide elastic deformation when a force toward the tray insertion direction is applied to the spring member.

摘要: An example of an optical disc apparatus includes a top case and a bottom case. The top case includes a tab extending downward from one end of the top case. The tab includes a protrusion protruding inward. The bottom case includes a lower-side folded portion formed by folding inward an upper end of one side surface of the bottom case. The lower-side folded portion includes a cantilever spring. The cantilever spring includes a spring portion extending in a vertical direction and a curved portion formed by folding inward an upper part of the spring portion. The protrusion comes into contact with the curved portion when the top case is being affixed to the bottom case and is in contact with the spring portion under a state where the top case is affixed to the bottom case.

摘要: An optical disc device includes rails holding a tray so as to be put in and out with respect to a case and rail guides attached to a bottom chassis of the case to movably hold the rails, in which the rail guides have cross sections orthogonal to the running direction of the rails in a generally U shape and at least either one of the rail guides is formed with a projection in a part of the bottom surface abutting upon the rail. The projection is formed in an end range on the front face side of the case in the rail guide, and the rail rides on the projection of the rail guide when the tray is drawn out from the case.

摘要: From an optical disc drive, internal static electricity has to be discharged to the outside to prevent breakage of electric components such as laser diodes. A grounding spring has been used to discharge static electricity from a unit mechanism to the enclosure of the optical disc drive but it is necessary to improve the reliability of the drive in consideration of the dimensional accuracy and workability of the spring. Thus the free end of a grounding spring having a cantilever structure is shaped like an arc and an end of the grounding spring has a curved structure. This configuration improves the dimensional accuracy and workability of the spring, so that the performance of the optical disc drive can be more reliable.
