摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a tone correction storage unit that stores a plurality of tone correction charts for correcting tone of image data; a determination unit that determines characteristics of the image data; a selection unit that selects a tone correction chart suitable for the image data from the plurality of tone correction charts stored in the tone correction storage unit; a chart print unit that prints the tone correction chart selected by the selection unit on a sheet; a receiving unit that receives an adjustment value inputted based on the tone correction chart printed by the chart print unit; a tone correction unit that corrects tone of the image data based the adjustment value; and a print unit that prints out the image data after correcting tone of the image data.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes; a chart data forming unit that forms density correcting chart data to be printed, in which reference density patterns and adjusting density patterns are arranged so that a connection angle, and the adjusting density patterns have different densities in the respective patterns; a printing unit that prints a density correcting chart in which the reference density patterns and the adjusting density patterns are arranged adjacent to each other in respective patterns; a receiving unit that receives an input of a density adjusting value of a desired pattern, on the basis of comparison of density between the reference density patterns and the adjusting density patterns which has been obtained from visual observation of a user on the printed density correcting chart; and a tone correcting unit that conducts tone correction of the desired pattern.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a chart data generating unit that generates density adjustment chart data; a printing unit that prints a density adjustment chart where the reference patterns and the adjustment patterns of each pattern are juxtaposed, based on the density adjustment chart data; a receiving unit that receives the input of a density adjustment value of an arbitrary pattern; a gradation correcting unit that corrects gradation of the arbitrary pattern based on the density adjustment value of the arbitrary pattern that is received by the receiving unit; and a reconstructing unit that reconstructs density adjustment chart data used to juxtapose and print the reference patterns and density-corrected adjustment patterns for only pattern data of the patterns where the receiving unit receives the density adjustment value.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes: print data generating unit for generating gradation correction test chart print data to juxtapose and draw a basis density pattern having a basis density of a yellow color and plural reference density patterns having respective densities of the yellow color compared with the basis density and additionally draw a contrast effect pattern composed of colors having a contrast effect on the yellow color; printing unit for printing a gradation correction test chart including a yellow color gradation correction pattern in which the basis density pattern and the plurality of reference density patterns are juxtaposed and printed and the contrast effect pattern is additionally printed; receiving unit for receiving an input of a density adjustment value of any pattern based on a shading comparison of the basis density pattern and the reference density patterns; and gradation correcting unit for performing a gradation correction.
