摘要: Techniques for determining characteristics of a stream of jetted material in a three-dimensional (3D) printer are disclosed. An example system includes an ejector configured to release molten droplets along a jetting path from the ejector to a build platform. The system also includes an optical sensor positioned adjacent to the jetting path and configured to generate an electrical signal in response to light emanating from the molten droplets. The system also includes an optical mask positioned adjacent to the jetting path. The optical mask includes light-blocking regions and light-passing regions to modulate the electrical signal generated by the optical sensor. The system also includes one or more processing devices to receive the electrical signal from the optical sensor, process the electrical signal to identify characteristics of the molten droplets, and control the 3D printer based on the characteristics. The characteristics include an estimated temperature of the molten droplets.

摘要: A component life prediction method that makes it possible to enhance, when predicting a time at which a component provided in an apparatus reaches its life end, the accuracy of this prediction. A method of predicting the life end of a component provided in an apparatus. An operation state of the apparatus is determined, which can reduce the service life of the component. A remaining useful life is predicted in which the component can be used until the component reaches the life end. Cumulative time is predicted which is determined by accumulating time in the operation state. A time at which the component reaches the life end is predicted based on a result of predicting the remaining useful life and a result of predicting the cumulative time.

The server may output related information which is related to the calculated first cost and the calculated second cost.

摘要: Systems and methods of the invention merge information from multiple image sensors to provide a high dynamic range (HDR) video. The present invention provides for real-time HDR video production using multiple sensors and pipeline processing techniques. According to the invention, multiple sensors with different exposures each produces an ordered stream of frame-independent pixel values. The pixel values are streamed through a pipeline on a processing device. The pipeline includes a kernel operation that identifies saturated ones of the pixel values. The streams of pixel values are merged to produce an HDR video.

摘要: A method of digital printing is disclosed in which a digital image to be printed has at least one region having pixels comprising superpositioned layers of a first ink and a second ink. The method includes producing at least one sample print and calibrating misalignment of the superpositioned layers at a plurality of calibration locations on the sample print. The resultant misalignment data is provided to a morphing program to determine a pre-deformation of the digital image to compensate for misalignment during printing. An apparatus and a machine-readable storage medium comprising instructions executable by a processor are also disclosed.

The web under conveyance is irradiated with linear light. It is possible to provide a lighting device capable of irradiating only an inspection region of a sheet or a web with light.
